I was excited to receive an email a few days ago from someone who acquired this older oil painting of mine. I hadn't seen the work for more than 33 years. She kindly agreed, and we set up a time for me to come and take a picture to upload here as part of my archiving project. I was happy to tell her the story of the painting, which was that I had painted it during the time when I studied under Gloria Godfretsen. She expressed admiration for the piece and I gave it to her on the spot! I had not seen it since. Strange to think of the journey a piece of art makes once it leaves the hands of the artist.
