Description
Driftwood, river and rocks make a pattern of shapes and cast shadows describe the contours of those shapes. This scene was inspired by 1960s Shotgun Cove (behind Whittier, Alaska) and the driftwood that would pile up there. Now, Shotgun Cove has been refurbished/civilized, with trails and a parking lot for easier viewing.
